Starship

STARSHIP is a series of paintings and drawings describing a futuristic “worldship” that someday might take humans to the stars.

Jon Lomberg began this series in 1971 and has added images to it ever since. The complete series shows not only a vision of future human destiny but also depicts the evolving style of the artist. These are the first four prints of the series of 12. The remaining prints will be published in the coming months and made available here.

The prints featured in this gallery are available for purchase online - $25 each or all five for $100.

A Section of Wilderness

A journey to the stars might take decades or centuries. What kind of society would continue to function sealed within the walls of the starship? Like all humans they would need their outlets for adventure and exploration. This starship provides an outlet for this basic human drive in the Wilderness petal.
